18 Forget the former things;
do not dwell on the past.
19 See, I am doing a new thing!
Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
I am making a way in the desert
and streams in the wasteland.
Isaiah 43:18-19 (NIV)
Sometimes we think God must be distancing Himself from us because our lives lack the blessings it used to be filled with. What we don't know is this: God is constantly bestowing his favour upon us and blessings are continually pouring down from heaven. We are not receiving them because we've got our hands full, clutching on to all the hurts and pains we have experienced. If we don't learn to let go, and have faith in God's plans, we are never going to realise our destiny -- to be blessed by God
and to be a blessing.
1Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
